Hi All,

I am just sending a quick note to make you aware of a number of training events we have coming up for community and voluntary organisations over the coming months.

Data Protection For Community Organisations -23rd March – Axis, Ballymun

On March 23rd 2018   10.30am – 12.30pm in Axis Ballymun we will be holding an information session on GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations) and their impact on community organisations. GDPR is a regulation coming into force in May 2019 intend to strengthen and unify data protection for all individuals within the European Union (EU) and will have implications for all organisations that gather and store information about their members/beneficiaries.  Youth Mental Health Training-  – 2 day – Rosehill House, Finglas

A two day training delivered by Jigsaw Dublin City this training looks at the core components of mental wellbeing in young people (under 25) and what community workers, activists and volunteers can do to support and promote positive mental health in young people they work with. Restorative Practice Training- April 5th & 12th – Rosehill House, Finglas

On April 5th and 12th we will be hosting Unity Mediation who will provide a two day introduction to Restorative Practice concepts. Restorative practice is a set of principles and skills used in many fields (justice, education and the community sector) with the aim of resolving conflict in a healthy manner. The training will take place 9am-5pm in Rosehill House Finglas. You can book online via this link

There is no cost to attend this training however places are allocated on a first come, first served basis. There are currently a limited number of places available so please book online or you can let me know by return if you are interested in taking up a place.
