Tidy Districts
The Dublin City Neighbourhoods Competition is held in May each year. Notification of results is held in September with awards being presented at the Civic Offices in Ballymun.
Courtlands received first prize in 2005 and repeated their success each year until 2009. In 2010 we were pipped into second place by Woodlawn.
Courtlands have faced off stiff opposition to win First prize once again in the Dublin City Neighbourhoods North Central Area competition for 2011. We have now won first prize in every year except one since 2005.
We have now added to our achievements by winning Second place in Dublin City Neighbourhoods Awards for all of Dublin for 2011, which were presented last week. This is a first for Courtlands as we have never won a prize in this competition before and this competition covers all of Dublin and is a major win for the estate.
These are great achievements for everyone in the estate.
The competition continues each year and residents are encouraged to pull out all the stops for 2012. The cleanup day will initate this effort.
