Our Annual Family Fun Day was back again last Saturday with an excellent turn out despite the less than ideal weather earlier that morning. The day began around 9.30 with the Committee and helpers setting up for the day. By 2.30 people had started to arrive and the sound of music and the smell of barbeque filled the air. We had kids races, Moms & Dads races, a Talent Show, basketball, soccer, face-painting and tea, coffee and a fabulous selection of home-made confectionery was available at the Cake Stand. Alongside them, quality burgers and hotdogs were served up without any waiting time whatsoever. Our local Gardaí friends Laura and Alan made a special appearance and were brilliant with the children.

We’d like to specially thank the large number of local businesses for their generous support in giving us such wonderful vouchers – The Skylon Hotel, Kirwan’s Funeral Care, Independent Pizza, Il Corvo, The Rise Pharmacy, Juice Yard, Milo’s, Happy Balloon Dublin, Tracy’s, The Cat & Cage, Tansey’s, Fagan’s, Anderson’s, Lin Kee, Corrigans Butchers, San Sab – these companies have all supported us so please support them!

Special thanks to Jing from Walnut Avenue for the absolutely fabulous balloon archway to the park! Thanks also to Gina at the Dublin City Council Office in Cabra for the loan of chairs which made our event so much more comfortable for everyone.

Thank you Deirdre Kelly for the photos in our gallery. We’d like more so if you have any, please email them to us at courtlandsresidentsassociation@gmail.com

Our Annual Subs Collection begins again over the coming says and weeks. The amount remains the same as it’s been for many years – just €40. Please make it as easy as possible for us by paying it online, remembering to include your name and house number with your payment – otherwise we won’t know that you’ve paid!
